How do I transfer credit card balances from other institutions to a credit union Visa® credit card?

Transferring balances from other credit cards to your lower-rate Visa® credit card is a great idea and can save you money in the long run! The easiest way to transfer balances to your Jovia card is through online banking - it's quick and easy!

Once you've logged into your Online Banking account, select Credit Cards from the navigation bar at the top of the screen. From there, you'll select the Services tab and then you'll select Balance Consolidation. To verify your identity, you'll be prompted to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number and your five-digit ZIP code. On the Balance Consolidation screen, you will need the name of the payee or the name of the institution you would like to transfer balances from, their payment address and the account number you're transferring balances from.

If you'd prefer, you can also transfer your balances over the phone by calling our Visa Member Service Center at 1 (800) 790-7728 or with our Call Center at (516) 561-0030. If you're near a branch, you can also transfer balances with a member service representative at one of our conveniently located branches throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.
